Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Owner Doug Margerum and winemaker Doug "Scotty" Scott, craft world-class wine working with the top vineyards in Santa Barbara County to produce small lots of premium wines. Vivid Ruby with dark fruit and floral aromas with complex spice. On the palate plum, cherry and raspberry flavors with lively acidity. The finish brings notes of cacao, espresso and earthy minerality on a lingering ending. Nice value.

Margerum M5 Reserve. 5 grapes- 7 Vineyards - 1 wine.
You don’t find many labels at this price point that’s this delicious. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try your next Tuesday wine… Get this one/label a swirl.
A glowing dark purple in color. The palate is full of blackberry, blueberry, savory spices, black olives, touch of tobacco & dark syrup. Long & lingering finish. Loving this!

Herbs, roasted fruit, licorice, menthol and vanilla on the nose. Cherry, kinda prune, dried herbs, fruit compote and fennel on the palate. Young wine, needs time.

Wow, this was a nice surprise! Fruity bouquet on opening that lasted till the last sip and a very smooth blend of 43% Grenache, 41% Syrah, 9% Mourvèdre, 4% Counoise and 3% Cinsault in the 2012 Vintage that is now singing. Left wanting more when bottle was gone.

Very good and typical syrah. A lot of tasty fruit on the palette, slightly dry and lingering finish. Smooth, not unique
