Vigneti delle Dolomiti Teroldego

Was surprised to find a bottle of this with a bit of age on it at a supermarket in the Italian alps. Very lively, with lots of brambly fruit and cooler earthy undertones.

Same night that I opened up the dame de montrose with age I also opened up this lovely number and I actually ended up drinking it with our steak while my partner drink the Bord. I just love these wines they are so pure and delicious! Dark fruit and earth but juicy and fresh!

*Sigh*...Foradori. Mi amo te. So pure. So elegant. A dancer in the glass. Light on her feet yet commands your attention. Lovely.

Savory herbs, tart tomato sauce, eucalyptus, spearmint, and mushroom (more earthy funk). Moderate plus acidity and tannins.

Pure beauty and grace. Floral Gamay-like aromatics with damp roses, smoke, red currant, strawberry, tar and wet rocks. The expressiveness of Foradori’s wines is off-the-charts. There is such finesse and aromatic complexity, invigorating acidity on the attack and a gently firm grip on the mid palate. Elegance in spades. I love Foradori!

Juicy black cherry, blackberry / pepper, mountain herbs / slight game / medium all across

Black fruit, plum, cherry cola, licorice, pepper and forest floor.
Black cherry, dark raspberry, juicy plum.

Crushed black cherry and currant, pleasant bitterness, touch of turned earth. Still the best wine in the portfolio to me. Juicy on the palate, bright acid, delightful tannins.

Love wines where the nose doesn’t match up with the palette. This was so brooding on the nose yet it was so fresh and fragrant and delicate once you taste it. Sooo good.
