Big, bold and full-bodied.
I don't really fancy big PN's as I think the varietal character often gets lost but for overall enjoyment this was actually damn delicious....

2nd of 3 wines part of a virtual work happy hour from the Mrs. #russianrivervalley #pinotnoir - boldly fruit-forward, bramble fruit, faint spice on the nose. Drinks richer than many Merlots. Some layers in the palate, creamy texture, faint spice behind a big tidal wave of purple fruit up front and feathery tannins to finish. It needs more acidity and I prefer a more elegant Pinot but definitely a well-made wine if big fruity Pinot is your thing.

Dark cherry and blackberry flavor with good tannins and a slight woody flavor; an oaky aroma with a great after taste. Terrific with steak or lamb!
