12' Argot Steiner vineyard Syrah. 31 months in new French oak. Carmel apple, spices, cranberries, Black licorice . Decanting this wine is a must. The acidity calms down & the fruit appears. A BEAST of a wine...pairing with Lamb chops/BEEF! The finish seems to go on forever. Very enjoyable Syrah. Justin is making some pretty damn good wines.

Wow, this is a super extracted, massive Syrah that retains some of the lovely herbal aromatics.

Not as expressive as it was 18 or so months ago. Still very good, but few of the previous characteristics are there. May have to grab a few ‘16’s to see where they are.

Pop and pour to enjoy while traveling. The aromas pour out of the bottle even before the cork is out. Bold, ripe fruit. Deep purple in color. Thoroughly enjoyable and tasty. Blackberry, caramel, a hint of tobacco and ripe plums. Thanks @David L for the intro to Argot!

Delicious aromas and a deep dark color. Juicy bramble at front. Then deep dark red fruit with a hint of cocoa then a nice tannin hit. Really came alive with food.
