Finally! I got to try an orange wine! It was the most pallet confusing wine I've ever had, and it was delicious! This one was made with Pinot Grigio, although they also make one with Malvesia. Pinot Gris/Grigio is pink skinned with grey flesh, so it creates this dark burnt orange wine. Smelled like Pinot Grigio, if I sprinkled in dried Valencia Orange peel in the glass. Pallet had some navel orange notes, golden apple skin, flint, and extremely drying tannin, which was quite confusing in its own. I think I want to try more orange wines!

Färgen är det som sticker ut mest här. Orangevin av Pinot Gris som blir jordgubbssaft. Har zest och apelsin men framför allt riktigt jästig karaktär. Ganska mycket kärn- och stjälktanin man inte riktigt känner landar perfekt. Skulle nästan säga att mat skulle höja det här vinet.

Really interesting wine. Skin-contact Pinot Gris with "orange wine" characteristics. Floral and tannic, with a great midpalate and a long finish.
