Nice deep red color. Smells good but not much there. Flavor is unique. Has the fruit and jam, but a bit earthy and chewy too. Nice balance with a few surprises. A good example of the Amador Zin.

Dec 11th, 2018Interesting nose. Some Zin aromas of cherry and licorice, but some other element. Like linseed or camphor. Taste is excellent. Explosive mountain fruit and jammy stuff. Leather and bark too. Hint of spice box. Finish hits a bit more fruit and caramel then I love but the tannins come through too. A complex and unique foothills Zin.

Sweet, juicy start. Big plum and blueberry notes. There's a bit of a drop-off after that, and it ends on a somewhat flat, acidic note.
