$13 Medium nose. Very fresh. Notes of fresh grass, lemongrass, lemon peel and lime. Light bodied. Off dry. Low alcohol. Low tannins. Medium acid. Bright and zesty. Strong notes of lemon zest, lime, and fresh grass. A simple bright wine. Not my favorite SB. Barely worth the low price.

Perfect Summer white! Light but not insipid, fresh with hints of newly cut grass, gentle acids and pleasant fruit. 13.5% ABV but drinks like 10%—I could quaff this all weekend, with all manner of food. Enjoyed the 2019 vintage with homemade chicken liver pâté on toasted brioche and a bratwurst sandwich with sautéed peppers and onions.
