La Maltroye 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachet Chardonnay

Light almost docile nose of citrus fruits. Piercing palate presentation. Sharp and medium weight, with perfect acidity. Rocks and stones everywhere. Certainly needs food. Will relax in time.

Wow is this amazing. Finish goes forever, all acidity, peaches and apricots, oak is holding its hand up, but it's ok because its blending in beautifully

Crazy that his second vintage is such a great one. Loads of texture through the mid palate held together by core acid through to finish. Worth laying down for sure.

Killer. Crying out for cellaring but there's great stuff happening now.

So I have given up with Delectable ever getting this right. The label tells you what it is even if Delectable can’t.

Exceptional. Had at Jean-George’s. Big mineralogy.

Quite perfumed, airy and ethereal. Reminded me of Domaine de la Cote and Prieure Roch. That biodynamic nose from Premeaux. Pretty floral notes with bright cherries and raspberries. I was surprised when the wine was revealed. Unlike any Heitz Lochardet I've had so far.

Reductive, smoke, cool and airy, dark cherries. Atypical of Pommard, more like Vosne or Gevrey.
