Very soft aroma and flavor, had some pyrazine notes, French oak, blue and black fruits, slight vanilla, not much earth or herbs there but some floral notes are there

Smokey and pretty tannic. Has some cherry and plenty of tannin. A strong Frenchie with drama and all the rest. Would work with cheese, well.

Feb 11th, 2018I smelt cherry on the nose, at first drink very dry with the taste of fresh rubber and mineral. After airing out I tasted wheat bread and some rock salt. The wine was hard to pin point for me.

Leather, plum, dark cherry, and earth dominate the nose on this wine with a hint of black olive. The palate has velvety tannin that envelops the mouth, with sweet tobacco, plum, and red fruit rounding out the palate. Cuvée Bruno.

Medium body. Might be better with food or a cheese plate. On its own it was unspectacular. Peppery with cherry.

Nice wine. Very smooth, light tannins and easy to drink. Some cassis and cherry, beautiful ruby color and nice legs. Purchased at World Market for $15 on sale. Would buy again.
