Jun 30th, 2021We bought this little beauty online. Having tried a number of wines from Heirloom before, I figured it was going to be in a goodie. This ‘Velvet Fog’ Pinot is from the Adelaide Hills in SA.
In the glass it’s a purple red magenta colour. Boysenberries, raspberries, dark chocolate, earth and a hint of mushrooms rise from the glass. In the mouth it’s wonderfully balanced with juicy acidity and fine tannins. Silky smooth.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Light ruby translucent in color. Lovely fruity maybe cherry but flinty aroma light bodied. Medium tannin. High acidity. Nice lingering finish. Overall good.
