Totally unique green apple pip and sea spray aromas. Grassy and mineral and salty and acidic in nice proportion with a hint of marzipan. Medium body and good concentration and a supple long finish. Not harshly acidic like the red collares I’ve tried, nor as floral as I’d expect from a Malvasia. Like a young savagnin grown on the beach. Would love to try this bottle in several years.

Neutral, vinho verde like nose with broad shoulders and high acid- reminds me of a topped up savagnin in this way. Great density. Needs time.

Floral, white stonefruit aromas and flavors, still very youthful, complex and very long, lingering finish, excellent Colares (Malvasia de Colares is the grape)!!

Minerality with a whiff of apple. 100% Malvasia hillside on the Atlantic coast. Pretty cool

Beautiful! As good as the best dry Rieslings. Rubber on the nose. Bright acid that hits mid-palate.
