Eclipse in the glass. Crayon box, alcohol and sweetness on the nose. Dark berry, licorice and herbs on the palate. Very smooth in the mouth and light, yet big flavors. Finish lingers showing smoke with a touch of bell pepper. A gem despite a hard year for California wines.

v16. Very Good! Soft, dusty white pepper , cocoa and cedar nose. Bright, juicy, black currant fruit. Slightly chalky and tight, leather finish. Nice food wine.

For the price ($36 at Total Wine) this is a great value. Punching way above its weight. Highly recommend for everyday / occasional Napa cab when you don’t want to open something more $$$$.
