Vintage 1989 | Alive and kicking Chenin Blanc, vital, vibrant. Love this. Awesome balance. Honey. Rembrandt warm brown colour. Paired with Indian sweet and sour chicken.

Vintage 1997 | Tasted blind, after unwrapping I saw it stood next to Moulin Touchais. A unique opportunity to taste the two next to each other. This is true to type Chenin Blanc, with a beautiful smell that consist of Turkish Fruit, hay, honey, impressions of ananas and tangerines. Awesome balance, very vibrant and elegance. I adore this wine. Dutch bottling. 25 years old without signs of becoming too old.

Vintage 1997 | Chenin Blanc, Dutch bottling. Mesmerizing wine. I put my nose in the glass, if I walk into a rose garden with lots of bee hives with honey. And a row of apricot trees. Ultimate balanced. Só happy to have this Chidaine in the cellar. | Paired with home baked Applebread, a slow food recipe from Alto Adige, a great combination.

Vintage 1995 / as usual, an awesome balance in this chenin blanc, that does not show consequences of its age, alas a light golden colour... it is a moelleux but acidity is prominent in this wine with lavender honey. Tasted great with a baked apple Goudreinet with some cane sugar, butter and nuts.

Vintage 1990 / Yves died in 2008, he is the father of François. Apricot and honey in smell. The smell of this #cheninblanc is not 100% correct 🤨 but gets much better with aeration. The taste is allright though, with impressions of honey, Turkish fruit, pears, well balanced between sweetness and vivid acidity. Colour has a old golden shine. Partnered it with an apple from the oven. With some butter and sugar. Simple, delicious.

Vintage 1986 - an incredible light colour after 31 y and a smell with Turkish delight, honey, hay, butter. Probably my best buy for the cellar, ever! This #cheninblanc #moelleux #montlouis tasted better each time I drank one. Real #loire magic. Great balance.
