Good full yellow. Aromas of peach, eucalyptus and pear. Luscious and ripe, with good grapefruit, white pepper, and a touch of honey in the mouth. Slightly rounder and sweeter than the 2018, boasting a long finish of chamomile and sweet herbs. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, August 2019)

Have loved these 12s in the past, but I think this may be over the hill. Mature golden hue. Still nice flavors, but tastes flabby and unfocused. I’ll drink my last bottle soon...

2012 vintage. Just absolutely adore this wine. Tons of stone fruit on the palate. Big and delicious -- one glass just leads to the next...

Out of Magnum... Drinking in a nice place right now but could age a bit more also.. nice mineral smoky burgundianesque nose almost. But very italian and sicilian at same time. Focused and delicious.

A beautiful interpretation of one of Italys finest white wine grapes. Reminds me a bit of a white Burgundy but missing the acidity of the Chardonnay. White flowers, freshly sliced pear, flintstone, a touch of honey and a bit of a caramel note on the nose. You get the same component (caramel) on the palate mixed with a nice saline influence. Good finish. Definitely one of the better whites I had from Italy. Would give it a bit more time in the cellar so the oak can fully integrate.

Rich and full with salinity and mineral backbone. Could use a touch more acid

2012 vintage. Orange blossom, gardenia, honey and meursault like on the nose with ash smoky mineral salt. Plump and juicy but not oily, hint of sulfur (mt etna?) on the palate. Finishes short with medium to low acid.

En Magnum. So good. Great minerality plus citrus, apple. Dead ringer for really great white burgundy
