Compared to the last release, this is darker and less vibrant. The french oak shows a little too much for my liking but it has good body and holds up nicely with air.

Brought by one of our guests to dinner. This was the surprise of the evening. The person who bought it said they have been wanting to try it. Was a very dark rich wine with a dark fruit flavor. Very balanced - alcohol was not obvious at 14.2%. Really enjoyed this one!

Jammy, inky. Full of blackberry and spice with a smoky finish. Fruit-forward; not complex. It is what it is. And for $14, it's a winner with a dynamite QPR.
