Aromatics of wet slate, yellow apples, and honeysuckle. Palate is honeyed and rich, but still dances. Ripe peaches, lychee, and tremendous acid round it out. This wine has a long life ahead of it!

Golden with greenish tints. Honey bomb nose with hints of oily wrench. Classic. Great upfront minerality. Structure is still solid, chewy acid holding up like a boss even at 21 years old. Sweet and tart. Everyone needs a taste.

This was fantastic. Distinct orange peel note. Slightly different profile than last year's bottle. Dan's for New Year's #1.

Dec 31st, 2022This is outstanding. A 1976 Auslese which, based on label and cork condition, was rebottled. Incredible concentration and freshness for a sweet white that is 45 years old. A funky, sour note on opening, opens up into an interesting blend of melon, lichi fruit, green apple, vanilla and some vegetal notes. Not heavy on the palate; long finish. Great and unusual. Bottle #1 at Dan's for new year's.

Sweet on front and stone on the back. It starts with sweet oranges then goes to chalk and acid. Super fresh and delicious.
