Very fresh, structured and muscular on the palate but transparent. Over several hours in the decanter roses and red fruits begin to peek out but overall this is closed and needs more time.

More balance, stronger tannin presence. Red cherry not overpowering. More leather and some tobacco.

Ruby with fragrant berry fruit and floral notes. On the palate red berry flavors, spice, pepper with a citrus zest. Fine tannns, lingering savory finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Nice!

Some of the highest elevation vineyards in Montalcino. Pretty red fruit finesse with some earthy forest floor notes. Well balanced in the mid palate. 13.5% alcohol (which makes all the difference, bright fruit & Med weight)

Dried red cherries, tart fresh cranberry, cranberry skin, ripe pomegranate, stinky mulch, toasted notes, cocoa and tar resin with a lush floral rosy note. Such a nice mouthfeel. Softened yet present tannins with a dusty tone. Excellent vintage and a solid example of brunello. Need to source another to save!
