Carpenter
#3 Clone Stone Vineyard Semillon
I usually don't like white as much but this was by far my favorite white on my week long venture in Sonoma, CA. Plus we got to meet Laura Carpenter Hawkes while trying this wine. She is really amazing. This has a great flavor, a bit floral, but not too much. Light and crisp all the way to the end. My guests liked it too and now I'm out. Boo.

May 31st, 2017This was the 2013. Carpenter is the maiden name of the woman who makes this. Citrus and floral on the nose. I liked this one initially, but as I drank it it became more acidic, especially on the sides on my tongue. Not pleasant. It had a nice, creamy finish at first that was very nice. Maybe it needs to remain very cold instead of warning to room temperature?
