My first real Texas red wine. GSM blend, and even though it's saying under 14% ABV, the alcohol is pretty bitey. Could've used a dunk in the ice bucket, but already poured in 5 glasses.

Little bouquet but a beautiful ruby color. Bold acid but not balanced with tannin. Bright cherry flavors up front but it drops off dramatically. A slight tannic finish.

Very nice pairing for leftover thanksgiving meals. Light and somewhat sweeter than anticipated with pleasant acidity and deep ruby red color.

Having this with some dark chocolate. Strong berry flavors with mild-medium tannins. I really like this.
