Oct 13th, 2017Super light for a Bordeaux... Very odd. Not what you'd expect from this area. Overall the nose and palate were ok and similar to what you'd expect from a cab Merlot blend, but it took a while for it to open up so that the polyphenols could actually have an impact.

Get a surprisingly nice Barberra hit from this Bourdeux and not mad at it. Enjoyable wine that came as a gift. Went great with our spaghetti squash and marinara.
Edit: flavor changed greatly towards the end of the bottle. Didn't love it.
