Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
14 months in Allier barriques.
Creme de Cassis, dark fruits, plum and rosemary on the nose.
Medium plus bodied with smooth and well grained tannins.
Black currants, blackberry, tobacco and graphite with a fresh lift on the finish.
We had 2 lbs of local Matsutake mushrooms and made sukiyaki.
A great pairing.
