Not great on its own, but paired well with sun dried tomato pesto risotto. Aromas of pear/apple and medium sweet, which is just a bit too sweet for me.

The pale color is no surprise, like the herbal/floral scent it gives off. But wait, is that a hint of petrol in there? A little whiff of gasoline? Surely not, in such a young Riesling. But I will swear it was there. On the palate, pears rule, and the full mouth is juxtaposed against a wonderful acidity. I would have this again anytime, particularly chilled on a hot summer day.

Real sweet, easy to drink wine. Liquid clear chocolate anyone?

Would buy again if I had Chinese takeout available, but too boring to drink on its own or as an aperitif.
Better on second try, especially with grilled asparagus/orange pepper.

A lot sweeter than I normally go for but good for a change! Very fruity/peachy
