It’s good, but something about this struck me as being a little one-note.

Tonight I have opened the 2015 Patricia Green Cellars Lia's Vineyard Pinot Noir.

The nose has pronounced cranberry, cherry, raspberry, ripe tomato, cola, sweet wood and a bit of funk.

On the palate the is very nice cherry, cranberry, raspberry, vanilla, cola, clove and a earthy component.

The wine is soft medium bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium + smooth tannins that leads to a long pleasant finish. One step closer to the weekend and we are upon Mothers Day. A Happy Mothers Day weekend to all you beautiful mothers out there. Please be safe this weekend and enjoy your Mothers. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Tonight I wanted to honor Patricia Green with opening her 2015 Patricia Green Cellars Lia's Vineyard Pinot Noir. I purchased this wine about a week before her passing. So Patricia this is for you, may you rest in peace and may your winemaking live on forever.

The nose has beautifully aromatic red fruit that makes my mouth water wanting to get into the tasting. There is cherry, strawberry, red raspberry, pomegranate, clove, eucalyptus and nice earth.

On the palate the nose translates over with cherry, red raspberry, cranberry, clove, cola and a dry earthiness.

The wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium to + smooth tannins, well integrated and balanced. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and be safe. Here's to you Patricia Green, Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

This 2014 bright ruby-colored baby has a nose of dark cherries with a mineral component. Smooth and intense cherry fruit, deep extraction, and very hot. 14.7% holy cow! Finish shows some blue fruit notes. I prefer a leaner vintage yet this is well made.

Red and black fruit. Cola with oak. Some black tea. Called it Oregon Pinot Noir without tasting.

Didn't really strike us as such a great Pinot Noir especially for what this stuff costs - will definitely not buy again it was a gift, probably from Ann and Jim
