Nose of dark leathers cherries with baking spice. Chewy leggy textured. Deep yet vibrant ruby color. More fruit than I expected, pleasantly. Spiced baked cinnamon clove earthy aged cherry. Great price of $6.99 at Trader Joe's. I would buy this again for sure. Pairs nicely with hard goat cheeses, like goat gouda and drunken goat.

Much more bright and fun than I remember it being. Sweet cherry, red licorice, bouncy hints of tobacco. Tasty.

Jun 8th, 2019I get some berry flavors but I wouldn't call it jammy or sweet. Not much mouth-drying effect at the first few sips (i.e. not high in tannins). Seems like an easy drinking wine that would have broad appeal.
