2013. Often find Nero D'avola a little jammy and one dimensional but this wine, albeit relatively young, is more complex with black fruit layered with tobacco and spices. Lovely.

Interesting and good wine made with a percentage of "appasimento" grapes...in Sicily. But when tasted blind you would place it in Puglia or Veneto. Makes me wonder if you're doing the Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes a pleasure. But this is a pure personal consideration.
