Blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 16% Zinfandel, 8% Petite Sirah, 5% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot, 2% Syrah and 2% Carignan, looks like they threw in whatever was left over. Deep Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits with spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with notes of oak and baking spices. Firm grippy tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and spice. Drink now no aging benefit.

Picked this mass produced and inexpensive blend off a convenience store shelf just for the sake of it. What’s inside is about 6 different grape varieties blended together without any clear direction or intent other than to be non-offensive to mindless indulgence. Fruit heavy, medium bodied, little structure. Drinkable nonetheless.

Would buy again! It’s straightforward but a nice one to have around for random weeknights.

Strong vanilla on the nose. So strong you could even go cocoa with it. It's definitely what they say it is with regard to the Sonoma Cabernet distinction. It's good, but I'd rather go Napa at this price.

Dark deep color that represents the 5% petit Verdot that appears in this Bordeaux blend. Rubber and blackberry on the nose. The tannins stripped my palate.

2012 vintage. 62% merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Zinfandel, 4% Cabernet franc. Easy drinking style with plum and some raspberry. Oak and vegetal notes. Acidity gives some lift, tannins were grippy until wine was able to open up on second glass.

Decent, straight forward American red wine. Good for the grill. Paired nicely with beef kabobs tonight.
