Nutty, long, viscous, oily beast of a wine. Needs air to fully open up and once it gets going...it blows you away. A point right now. We served it next to coquilles with couscous and hazelnut. Outstanding combination.

Rich, mature, nutty, floral and citrusy. Mandarin, mango, lemon oil, lots of peppery spice, resin, wet rocks, pine kernels and cheese.
True, it’s a peculiar mixture, but it works!
This is great to drink now, the sooner the better, in your garden, some roasted almonds and some old goatcheese within reach.

В аромате зелёный орех, лайм, луговые травы, зимние яблоки, тона сырого осеннего леса, сверхтонкие намеки на нефтехимию, легкая спиртуозность. Во вкусе айва, груша, цедра грейпфрута, лещина, минеральность. Органолептика уже довольно развитая, но совсем не усталая или перезрелая и поддерживается хорошей цитрусовой кислотностью. Насыщенно, не очень сложно, но вполне органично и выразительно. Со временем стройнеет, но при этом становится алкогольнее.

(16/20) Элегантное, сдержанное вино. Высокая кислотность, "меловая" структура. Интенсивность во вкусе существенно выше, чем в аромате. Требует выдержки, по крайней мере ещё год. #prowein2016

I studied with Emmanuel the son, great family, smart and passionate peoples. for me one the most interresting Savennieres. The Chenin here is riche but lively, complex through Its minerality. Great Loire Valley terroir for sure !
