Always willing to try Patagonian wines. This is decent & has some lift, not too “purplish” & went with rigatoni & homemade tomato sauce without blowing it away

Had good flavors with some peppery notes. Very reasonably priced at the restaurant and was an excellent value. The wine was slightly thin for its rich deep color, but I like it all the same and would order it again.

Brick red, orange hue, caramel, salty, green bell pepper, ripe black cherry, medium plus body, dry herbs, tobacco, Malbec from Patagonia which is a little bit cooler, 100% Malbec. Highly rated Malbec, 2016 so it has some age on it. Tanins build then they get rich. Tanins will mellow out after sitting out. Was started from the 90s from a family in Bordeaux, they started their bodega. This is one of their reserva ones, you get more a tobacco flavor. Kinda fun!
