From Maipo Valley in Chile, dark Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits with sweet notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and tart cherry with notes of cacao and black pepper spice. Firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and oaky notes. Tasting Sample.

Well done Chilean Cabs always remind me of Alexander Valley Cab. A hint of cool climate but still plenty of heat to make the wine ripe. Fun wine.

Allowing for a quick 15 min breather will help the initial sharp edges smooth out. Even w/out a decanter this is still great. Intense aromas of dark fruit and red raspberry, earth, & caramel-vanilla. Initial taste is un-ripe red fruit with a bit of acidity, but not so much as to affect the overall smoothness. Initial flavor is followed by a “Whoa, what is that?” Tobacco, mocha, herbs, earth? It has some fun complexity that morphed the longer it decanted. Nice, long finish makes for an enjoyable evening.

Fantastic value. Unsurprising bouquet but opens up beautifully and the nose becomes earthy and herbaceous. Flavor is bold. Entrance is full of red fruit. Finish is both intense and smooth. Wet rock, tobacco and flower pedals. Complex and delicious. Interesting. Main course.

Delicious hedonistic wine. Voluptuous nose of toasty oak, stewed plum, fig, spice, and black cherry. Palate is rich and sensuous with more chewy sweet black fruit, herbs, and tobacco notes. I wholeheartedly agree with Suckling's 92-Pt score, this is a knockout. California cab-drinkers - you may want to steer clear if you're hellbent on staying of the mindset that other countries can't make delicious Cabernet under $20.
