Color of strawberry jam and pomegrante. Light body and dark fruit aromas - cherries, new car leather, maybe plums. Touch of sweetness, medium acidity, very smooth.. not a strong red wine.
I think this my first shiraz. It tastes fine with vegan shepard's pie. The wine is better than the pie. Don't tell my vegan girlfriend that.
It tastes like cherries, blackberries, and is pretty acidic. Not tannic, really. Very drinkable. This will probably be my new go to red wine (I don't love red wine). I could drink this and how about the price - $7?!

Not as good as the 2013 vintage; lacking fruit, but lots of peppery spice and tannin.
