Showed really well, bright outgoing nose with the darker negroamaro fruit, but a tangy red streak. Good juice.

After being open for several hours this wine sings with a medium body and and delicious balance. Southern Italian aglianico blend with smoky anise, herb and blackberry extract, Structure is tight but not austere with bright acidity.

Hints of licorice and spice and wet latex paint overlaying plums on the nose. Soft, sweet and plummy Zinfandel-like fruit on the palate. Had I taste this blind, I might have guessed that it is Zinfandel.

Enjoyable but I noted something "chemical" in the nose. Later read someone's description of "latex paint" hmm. It did have some nice fruit in the mouth however.
