Had the 2016 last night - this is lighter. It has a blackberry with a touch of cigar box. Also 17 may have been a more difficult vintage but this is a winery to explore - literally they seem VERY hospitable (on Zoom)!

Fun Friday evening with great wines.
This wasn’t given the time it deserved as this was enjoyed at pop and pour. Coiled up tight. Rich dark berries, licorice, baking spices and cocoa up front. A very densely packed mid palate...graham cracker, more licorice, fig and a juicy/fresh squeezed core of dark fruit. Need to try one of these when it has time to open up.

A funny name but a really well made wine. Never heard of this producer but I liked the powerful core of blue and black fruit. Nice balance and an impressive long, smooth finish for such a young Pritchard Hill Cab.
