Moon Curser
Okanagan Valley Carménère
Wine tasting at Moon Curser. Aromas of dark fruit, black liquorice and tobacco. On the palate, red cherry, stewed plums, cassis, mild herbaceous notes, mild black pepper, anise and hints of cloves. From my previous notes the 2016 has more complexity compared to 2014.

Jun 18th, 2019I picked this bottle up at the Moon Cursor winery a few years ago. Made from one of the only Carmenère vineyards in the Canadian Okanagan. Dark ruby colour with a sumptuous velvety mouthfeel and notes of raspberry, blackberry, green pepper and a subtle finish of sweet tobacco. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended if you can find a bottle.
