Pale ruby in color.
On the nose, oak, blackberries, blueberries, figs and peppercorn.
Medium-bodied and somewhat watery mouthfeel.
Smooth on the palate with blackberries, plums, blueberries, strawberries and black pepper.
Very fruity on the finish with light tannins and bitter almonds.
It has some bad aftertaste at the end, which I didn't like. I will not buy again.

The 2015 was very nice as an after-work glass, even without food. It definitely benefited from a pass through the aerator. It was a little on the stiff side beforehand.

Light and fruity. Blueberry jam and plum notes without a whole lot of substance. Very faint flavors of vanilla and tobacco on the finish.
