Not bad at all. But it’s a sweeter juice than a classic Alsace.

2007 Pinot Gris from El Dorado! Beautiful nose of lemon and apple and a hint of apricot. Attack is a bit soft with hints of citrus found in the bouquet, dominated by Meyer lemon, but although body is medium + palate becomes very thin quite quickly with a short finish. I do believe this is showing significant signs of age and is beyond its prime- when a little younger this would be a delish palate cleanser on a hot day!

We got this bottle on our trip to Placerville over Memorial Day weekend. It is crisp and refreshing. Good for sipping on a hot day. Tastes likes apples and lemons.
