Creamy, minerally, nutmeg, ripe-fruity nose; taste is fresh, rich, moderately oaky and composed of pineapple, ripe green apples, and a lemon-pepper spiciness. Not a favorite style of mine (wife’s choice), but I found it quite elegant and satisfying with the baked potatoes and a shrimp-dill-sauce called Skagenröra.

@Delectable Wine and Josh Reynolds, perfect review. Amazing wine. Gave it a point higher for value.

I feel tired of these matchstick, reductive #chardonnay yes, we know, you can leave solids from the press...yes we know you can make this style of wine, but for me it’s a bit of a one pony trick show. Lacking body, lacking finish lacking acidity. #oregon #eolaamityhills

straw colored, pale watery rim; lemon, red apple skins, stone fruit, toast; wet stone, honey, clean, lively; medium body, good acidity, 13.5% ABV; made from 100% Chardonnay from famed Seven Springs Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills, gentle whole cluster press, indigenous fermentation in once used barrels 500L puncheons, élevage 12 months in the once used barrels and puncheons and then 6 months in stainless steel; a great example of what Oregon Chardonnay can be and a bargain compared to many California Chardonnays; $35

ALWAYS a winner. I could drink nothing but this winery for the rest of my life and be happy.

2016 has some slight vanilla undertones but it’s crisp and dry. Tight acid. I’m getting some great topical fruits of mango and pineapple with an appeliness. Yum!

Ripe peach, Apple, and pear all sprinkled with lemon zest. M body and acid. Long finish. The fruit carries through on the palate.
