Continuing with CA winery tastings. This is 100% Cabernet from Estelle Vineyards. Dark red with ripe dark fruit aromas, with a light spice on the nose. The palate shows Jammy blackberry and cherry flavors on a backbone of smooth tannins. Well balanced this wine is great to drink now if you can get one. Tasting Sample.

Oct 18th, 2016Picked this up during my last trip to Santa Barbara and am glad I did. First thing I noticed on the nose was the oak presence, followed by a sweeter green bell pepper note that was just different enough to be noteworthy. This wine is smoother on the palate than you'd expect while still maintaining a nice acidic edge to it.
Probably wouldn't hold up for 10 years but worth drinking now until then.

Fantastic. Hard to believe this is from here. 100% Cabernet. Lots of spice. Jalapeño throughout and spicy bell pepper. Not a big Napa cab but Really enjoyable! Especially for the club price of $28. Kidding me??
