Nice dark maroon. Not at all as ink black as some P.S. Nose has cedar and mint. Lots of camphor. Smells like a bit of jam in an old book in an attic. Flavors are ripe, but elegant and juicy. Dark berries, but lots of zingy herbal tones. Some black tea and hint of fennel too. It’s tannic, but again not as overpowering and dense as some P.S. out there. This is a nice full bodied and balanced version of Petite Sirah aka Durif.

A good Petite Sirah, but not that big bold flavor you look forward to tasting. Good for an everyday due to the inexpensive price.
