Excellent. Young. Good fruit not huge tannin.

Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC 2010, 14.5%. Blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. Bright color, quite fluid. The nose detects black pepper and peppermint, and the wood.I could smell honey too! Very fresh in the mouth with good persistence. For me a bit too young. 85/100

Very pleasant blend. Tasted a bit weak to go with a steak, but was pleasantly surprised - it held up well against the big flavours.

Wow! Wish I bought more of these at $16. Amazing. Big dark fruit, tobacco, leather, and cinnamon. Love it!

Excellent wine, very drinkable and the cheapest the vineyard offers win best results.

Holy cow - wow factor. A blend of sangiovese, Syrah and Cabernet Franc. I was seduced at first sip. currant, cherry, plush. You can tell it’s Sangiovese. A bit of spice on a long finish. It’s nice to be surprised once in a while.
