A dry spätlese with ripe exotic fruits, minerals, refreshing finish and a luxurious viscosity. Very, very old ungrafted vines. Quality stuff at a very attractive price.

Delicious and very consistent with my previous notes.

Good sweet Riesling, but nothing special. Straightforward and tasty, but lacking any complexity. Not as good as 2 other Spätleses from neighboring Zeltingen-Rachtig vineyards also produced by Selbach-Oster.

Near perfection. Deep, golden yellow. Warm apple pie, creamy, lemon squeeze, pineapple, whipped cream and a whiff of pepper. And so much more. Amazing how this is light yet impressive, super elegant yet voluptuous and in your face.
