Jack & Arden put together a wonderful evening of delicious food and great wines, and a few of us attendees contributed some bottles to enjoy as well. Great night!

Served blind. As you’d expect, nobody guessed it correctly. I guessed Gruner. Very unique. Aromatically, this was crazy. There was a spice (white pepper) on the nose, but also some grapefruit, and a very sweet note. High acidity. Lemon zest at first then becomes more rounded with a cantaloupe note finish.

Dried apricot nose nice acidity. Can you say 60% Pinot noir vinified white. Bone dry apple cider. Really quirky and geeky! Cantaloupe finish. Extremely unique

Expecting a champagne from the nose but drinks like a yeasty rich white.

My kind of white... high acid, heavy citrus notes but a bit tamed the first day. However, on day 3 this wine was absolutely gorgeous. The nose really opened up with hints of mangos, papaya, and grapefruit zest. The depth of this wine reminds me of the 2000 Rochioli Chard I had a few months ago and the finish takes me back to eating fresh mango at the street market in Tel Aviv. Fantastic. Thank you @Jack Thompson

I love this blend. 55% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir (blanc).

Visited this winery in the Casablanca 2 weekends ago, and it was fantastic. Fermented in clay pots (with cooling rods) and aged in 2Y French Oak.

Very high acidity but has incredible balance. Lavender, Honeysuckle, Tart Green Apple followed by Grapefruit with a savory finish.

Incredibly interesting wine. Bodega RE calls each of the wines a made-up varietal representing an appropriate blend of the varietals actually used to make the wine. Hence, Chardonnoir.

Chardonnay and Pinot Noir all in one fermentation. Truly unique flavor and experience from our one and only Chilean winery.

Is it weird that this wine reminded me of two very different wines??: COS Ramí and Sigalas Assyrtiko. The nose was apricots, dried orange peels and waxy honey that reminded me of the Ramí, but the killer acidity and tension took me to the Assyrtiko. Really, really cool wine. Nice to see something from a more daring Chilean producer.
