Killer wine in a perfect place. Black berry, blue berry, olives, herbs de Provence and camp fire notes. Paired perfectly with a Merguez Lamb Stew with even better company.

A tad past peak but still very good and rugged. Toasted juniper berries, currant and dried eucalyptus.

Dried violets, crushed gravel, fig, plum, Provençal herbs. Delicious now with a proper decant.

Caught this in a great spot. Intact and developed fruit, complex and harmonious aged Bandol notes. The brett is quite integrated and noticeable in the slight tight and metallic finish. Soaked black cherries, stewed black plums, leather, animal hide, dried herbs, woodsmoke, cinnamon, cloves, pepper,

Blackberry, Earth, red and black fruits, Tarry, Mineral, touch of barnyard - dead animal. Aged Bandol from a good site is something special and this hits the spot. Not experienced enough with the individual vineyard Cuvées but I believe Cabassaou is considered the superior over this and La Migoua. After a while Liquorice notes with heavy spices. An enjoyable experience. Love these ultra savoury reds.

Starts out with zingy sunshine over flower bed earth. After a few hours this comes together beautifully. Lavender, hazelnuts, potting soil, smell of a spring garden... and all sorts of other good stuff you would expect if Provence were jammed in a bottle!

A little whiff of band aid on the nose. The fruit is still bright and quite young. In good shape
