Napa Valley Zinfandel

My favourite Zin for sure! 17 months in French oak domination, 6% Mourvedre and 2% Syrah. Blueberry, sweet spices on the nose also some pepper, medium intensity. Ruby color, slow tears along. Mefium plus bodied, dry, medium acidity, medium plus alcohol, medium plus complexity, medium plus finish. 91 points MF.

This is purely personal notes , i am not a fan of big jammy wines . Which is what this one is .i would choose a cooler location Zin than Napa . But its well made none the less .

Strawberry jam on the nose, bold berry + cigar on the palate, dry, with a medium finish.

Wonderful paired with spicy Moroccan lamb

2011, very nice musty meatiness with good alcohol bite, smooth overall, blueberries, rich and inky, herbal and licorice

Bold, jammy, and fairly spicy with blueberry and cherry undertones. Drank this with spinach margherita pizza, and it paired surprisingly well.

Smokey and dry!!
