Small grower production…only 900 bottles. All fermented in neutral oak. You sense that as soon as you smell it and definitely on the palate. Slightly bruised pear and apple, apple cider, ginger ale, malt, older mixed citrus-grapefruit dominate, bread dough, yeastiness, crumbled chalk & limestone, sea fossils, saline, mixed withering lilies, round acidity, excellent structure, balance, tension, length and nicely not over polished finish that last minutes and lands on beautiful minerality. As good as it is today, room for improvement going forward. Hold at least three years. @ K&L Champagne tasting.

Single vineyard Meunier, one of the oldest plots I know of, could be young Collard? We will see in 20 years. But, now it is light, fresh, and funky. LeBrun is as interesting as his wines. Even the cage is unique!!

From some of the oldest Meunier vines in Champagne. This 2009 is from one plot. After months settling in the cellar this extra brut is finding its way. Expressive, toasty, and a lingering finish make this a must for any Champagne cellar.

100% meunier. Tart key lime, slate, slight brioche on the back. Clean and crisp but also very tight.
