2014. Light petrol/rubber interplay, with black lime, lime pith and smoky cherrywood, graphite, underripe pineapple, igneous rock dripping with lemon. Sweet pineapple, lemon essence infused into lemon marmalade and emerging profoundly drier. Lime reduction, candied kalamansa with an ethereal distillation of floral and mystery citrus admixture.

Delicious. Putting on some weight and petrol over the apricot, acacia, ginger, carrot and green plum on the nose and palate. Quite bright and lightweight. Still in its infancy.

2011 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel. Despite my appreciation for Riesling, I have not posted many bts here with this grape. The reason being it needs time, so I am waiting more years ro start drinking them. This btl is a good ex, could hold at least another 30 years, but I was curious. Delicious juice, less electric than 2010, but the combination of fruit, botrytis and acidity is perfect. It is calm, transcendental elixir, with Indonesian dry mango, hawaian pineaplle, smooth finish. The feeling is like tasting some fresh snow with honeysuckle. Perkekt. Die exotischen Fruchtkomponenten, die lebendige Rieslingsäure und die Mineralität verbinden sich zu einer Einheit die richtif Spass macht.

2005- Med gold color, bright and crystalline. Light petrol and lychee aromas. Tart green apples and pears with wet stones; very precise. Needs many more years.
