This Cab aims for an understated personality. Nose is reserved, but gives up bright cassis, a smoky, iron-y note, and a grilled meat thing. In the mouth, it’s intense but on the leaner side, with surprising acids. Very good, but feels a tad contrived.

1998 vintage - have always loved this maker and this vintage is a standout - holding up superbly at 17 years

Like a boxing veteran this wine took some punches from Father Time but stayed on its feet to deliver nice flavors of dark fruit and some dust. It did not go the distance but faded in the very late rounds.

1998 vintage. Didn't expect quite so much, but just a gorgeous Cabernet & drinking ideally right now. Dark currant, espresso, that Coonawarra rust/earth character.

Ok but tastes like it would be better with age

Bought this in late 2015.
Still far too young.
Drinkable none the less but could do with being buried in the cellar for a few more years.
Wonderful bouquet rich in trimmings from the coonawarra but all the properties have not yet introduced tgemselves to each other.

Wine maker. Gregory Foster.

The 2009 is ready for the pallet now.
Looks like the next one will be opened 2018.
Cant wait.
