Rich and generous Bourgogne in a wonderful way. Complete. I’d buy two cases if I could get it

Not alot of experience here with Burgundy wine, but when you drink more of the bottle at dinner than usual, that's a good sign. It's delicate fruit, balanced minerality and lively acidity with food really makes this wine stand out from other pinot noir. By itself it's good. And with food, it could send you to Burgundy itself!

Fell flat for the price point - too fruity and lacking depth

Sappy red fruits. Very good with sweetbreads, bacon and mushrooms.

Et bien ; ... Voilà ! Pour un pinot noir de base ; celui du domaine Gelin se défend plutôt pas mal, notamment en 2013. J'aimerai tant goûter leur cuvée Clos Napoléon après cette mise en bouche !

Really interesting, just not sure I would have guessed Pinot. More herbaceous and rustic like an old classic, austere Chianti..
