Dried meats and dried fruit. 14 months in French Oak both New and Used. Concentrated yet restrained if that makes sense. Medium bodied.

See if you don't imagine yourself walking among the vines on a soil of marine fossils and marl, looking out over a baby blue sea, immersed in sense of pepper rosemary and lavender, with overachievers perhaps detecting a bit of tar. Once you pop open this bottle, if you pay very close attention, you'll get some minty finish hits.". An amazing unique and delicious wine.

This bottle did not age very well. Grainy structure, falling apart. Not to reckognized as Italian Syrah.

Have sentimental ties to this wine. Enjoyed this more recent iteration. Fairly balanced but bold Syrah. Good w meats. Would buy again.
