15.8% alc. Probably meant to be enjoyed on the younger side I think the high alc. is beginning to creep in here and strip the palate for density. A nice wine but I don't see much upside potential so I would opt to drink up and enjoy.

Intensity and lightness almost like a rich new world Pinot noir. Leads with pepper and savory herbs with raspberry coulis, baked blackberry and candied lavender. Baked earth notes on the palate.

This Zinfandel is different. Not overtly fruity but with great (good) herbal elements. Decanted for several hours and still improving on Day 2 from bottle.

Needs time, 2 hrs i found was the sweet spot. Lovely wine, lighter in texture and color than I would have expected but hits all the Zin notes and after a long time in glass it goes into something more herbal and savory.
