Cocodrilo Corte Mendoza Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot, deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, spice and herb notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with notes of cacao and black pepper. Fine soft tannins, good balance with acidity, long finish ending with fruit, spice and mineral notes.

Beautiful aromatics on this wine. Tannins were drying on the finish but overall a pretty Bottle.

A Paul Hobbs Argentinian Bordeaux style red. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Cabernet Franc (24%) and Malbec (15%). Blend of different vineyards. Deep ruby/purple color. Dark fruit (plums and blackberry) on the nose with plenty of purple flower and “green” aromas. The palate also features dark fruit (along with blueberry flavors) with a distinct note of pyrazine and more subtle hints of dark chocolate, sweet baking spices and a bit of graphite. Full bodied and quite a long finish. Silky tannins. Part of the North Shore House Wine Pairing Dinner on March 9, 2024.

Nose of sasparilla or root beer and tastes like it too

Red blend from Mendoza . Primarily Cab Sauv w some Cab franc and Malbec. Intense and aromatic nose. Tannins start tight but open up beautifully in an hour. Dark fruit , anise, cassis, a touch of green pepper.

This left bank blend has very good dark fruit concentration and nice nuances of earth and oak spices. Medium to full body. Soft, smooth, with sweet silky tannins.
Delicious and easy drinking.

Big, ripe and chewy red Bordeaux Style Red blend. Black fruit and dark chocolate aromas and flavors with an oaky vanilla finish. Balanced acidity and easy to drink. Smooth tannins.
